In line with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, tenants are liable to pay a holding deposit to secure a property. The amount of the holding deposit is to be no more than one weeks rent and this will form part of the upfront rent or deposit due when references pass.
If references do not pass or the tenant withdraws from the from taking the property then the holding deposit will not be refunded.
